I have said many times that when the time came, I would buy a trike. Well, coming home from Red Wing Mn. on the river road I dropped my Road Glide Saturday and again Sunday. Didn't hurt it or me, except my ego. Traded for a Tri Glide Monday. So, now I learn to ride it!

Hello & welcome to Trike Talk.
Congrats on the new trike.
I'd have done the same thing.
Take your time getting used to the difference between 2 wheels and 3.
Habits you'll have to break: Do not put feet down when stopped, steer it (Do not lean) and remember the trike is wider.
:)

When its time, its time. You'll enjoy your new TriGlide trike way more than you thought you would.

Welcome aboard Take your time ride some in big parking lot to get feel. Remember leaning does LITTLE good, steer like a snowmobile or ATV Last to NOT put your feet down when your temporal stopped.

Welcome to TrikeTalk Oldster! You're in good company here. It takes some getting used to especially after your body is used to motorcycles. The more time in the saddle, the more comfortable and proficient you will get.
