New engine?

Before all the hullabaloo about no more Stallions in 2010 (or was it 2011?) there was talk of a 2.5 or some type of new engine for the Stallion as the Ranger 2.3 engines were starting to be hard to find.

Has anyone heard if this new engine is still being proposed or in the R&D stage of developement to get it into the "new" Stallion.

Since I have re-entered Stallion world this last week after a pretty long absence I was just wondering if there is life for the Stallion after these 150 engines are used up?

That was the rumor, 2.5l Ford engine to replace the 2.3l, but TMS is being rather tight lipped on the matter and the future of the Stallion. The current economic conditions of the country has TMS being quite cautious, which is understandable, particular for this type of product/business/industry. I sincerely hope that TMS will find a way to continue the production of the Stallion.
