I am gathering info for a trailer manufacturer and need to know the width of various trikes so they can accommodate the majority of sizes and brands with a single trailer. I would very much appreciate your help with the following information about your trike. I need as many brands, years and models (GL-1800, VTX-1300, HD Ultra, HD Sportster, BMW 1200, HD-FatBoy, Tri-Glide, Scooter, etc, etc, etc.) as possible, both for the bike and the conversion.

Please list the following:
1) Brand of your Trike Conversion
2) Year, Brand & Model of Bike
3) Year Converted (or approx)
4) Width from center to center of rear tires

Remember I need CENTER to CENTER of the rear tires.

EXAMPLE:
1) Roadsmith
2) 2004 Honda GL-1800
3) Converted in 2008
4) 47 inches

Thanks in advance!
Zook

Hope this helps ... We never measured from the tire tread center to center, but always use rear track via outer sidewall to sidewall. Therefore, for the Trinity Trikes (and in the future their Yelvington Trike counterparts) the rear tire track measurements are as follows:

Roadster class (250cc Rebels, Suzuki GZ250's & Hyosung GV250's): 48"

Cruiser class (Sporsters, Hyosung GV650's, Shadows, VStars, etc): 52"

CVT Super Scooter class (Honda Silver Wing & Burgmans): 52"

Super Cruiser class (Big VTwins, HD, Nomads, etc) 54"-57"

:wave4: Don't know center to center tire tread, but the following is the width measurement that is advertised for my conversion.

1. Honda VTX1300
2. Champion trike conversion
3. 2007 bought converted (New) in 2010
4. 56" wide

Hope this helps!

I measured the trike this morning and it is as follows: :)

1.) California Side Car
2.) 2005 Honda GL-1800
3.) Converted when bike was new, September, 2005
4.) 47 inches

Thanks for taking the time to measure and post! Please keep 'em coming. Center to center of the rear tires is what I really need.

Okay, just got home. Here's mine below;

1.) MotorTrike
2.) 1997 Honda Valkyrie Standard
3.) Converted when bike was a couple of years old, aprox. 2000
4.) 43.5 inches
