Im thing of buying and out rigger Trike set up for my VTX 1800N. I am looking at the TRIGG but cannt find anyone that has one to ask or talk to about the goods and bads anything well help THANKS Denny :Coffee: :AGGHH:

Outriggers have been discussed many times on here. Do a search to see them. I ran a Voyager for about 3 years; all I can say about it is it does work. Steering is very heavy. ( much more than the real trike ) U must do maintainence on it . Parts break and loosen. Rear tire (Drive tire ) does wear out prematurity. I did get stuck once when I backed to close to a storm drain. It can get quite scary in real twisty turns.

there is a limited number of suppliers and installers for outrigger styles in Australia. Voyager has been here for a number of years and have just seen ghost wheels advertised. have not seen the Trigg systems here at all.
i have spent a lot of time on the internet looking at various units, i believe you are getting more for your money with the Trigg system. full size tyres, one piece body etc.
with any of these systems, have a look at ground clearance issues, tyre size, this does make a big difference on ride quality.

l have built my own system due to the above issues, l am using 15 x 7 tyres and independent suspension, in my opinion l believe this give a better ride.
whichever way you go, good luck and hope to see some photos up. ThumbUp

p.s. when l work out how to post photos will show you how l did my unit, in the meantime l have a facebook page, bolt outrigger, this shows how it was built. have done a Kawasaki Vulcan and also a Yamaha Royal Star.
