2012 TriGlide upgrade question
i am trying to find out if anyone is running the adjustable passenger cruiser pegs with the fender bags installed. If so which ones are you using.
And not sure that i will find them on here but i am in the market for both, pegs and bags.
Think my next mod will also be the rear shock lift kit.
Only had my new Trike for 3 weeks after riding an Ultra for years so i need the experienced ones to help me out on this please.

I don't know much about the pegs and bags, But i would do the lift kit first.
That was the first thing i did to my 11 T/G makes a world of diffidence in the handling. Lightens the steering effort and no more scrapping pipes. ThumbUp

Most of the time riding 2 up with the better half and everything i have read about it seems like a Positive Mod to do.

I have the Kuryakyn adjustable passenger pegs with the fender bags and there is no problem, when they are folded up they rest against the fender bags and if you want them compleely out of the way remove the fender bags and fold them all of the way back and put the bags back on everything fits fine. Also my wife loves the pegs and fender bags ( more storage )

I also have the Kuryakin adjustable pegs with the saddlebags. Wift loves both. No problems.... I aggree with the install of the lift kit. Makes life great on the trike.........Gary

Well i do appreciate the help Guys, looks like Kuryakyns gonna be my new best friend for awhile, i just installed the passenger arm rest from them and after showing my wife the bags in the HD book her reply was * I Think I will order them for me for *your* Birthday Present !!!! Thanks Honey !!! LOL

I don't know if you are going to instasll the bags or the dealer. If the dealer, make sure they know how to install them. Go over with the dealer (if used) exactly how you want the bags to line up. I wanted them to look like the pictures in the catalog and the pictures posted by other forum members.

I fought with H-D and the dealer for months because I said the bags were installed crooked and the dealer said they did look crooked but were installed per the instructions. H-D said they were installed per the instructions and too bad what I thought, they were not going to do anything about it, end of discussion.

All I know is the bags were crooked per every single person I polled including the dealer. The dealer finally corrected them (after months of bitching) by re-locating the top pin hole in the bags. Now they are 99% to my liking. The dealer and Harley did not want to replace the whole rear end box, which is what it would have taken to correct the problem. The dealer finally accepted my suggestion about modifying the bag bracket.

You can search for the pictures I posted showing how the bags were installed incorrectly(per the instructions).

Beleive me Gary, i saw your post on the mis-alignment of your bags and i decided then that i would do my own install, they really tried screwing you over.... i am a Fleet Mgr. by Trade and have done several street rod builds over the last several years and i am one that puts a lot of emphasis on body alignment on all my stuff so if its wrong i will be the one to blame on this install. Glad they eventually helped with your situation to where its not as noticeable on your trike..And i agree they should have stepped to the plate and done the right thing long before they did...
