No injuries to me but my wing didn’t fair so well. The drive of vehicle never stopped. :wave4:

Oh DAVID! I am so glad you were not hurt. I’m sorry about the Wing.

Let us know how this pans out... able to fix her at all? .... thinking about another?

Anytime we are out on the road....Un-expected things can and sometimes do come up and bite us.......If you can get away without an ambulance ride...Then thats a plus ...

Waiting on insurance appraiser. Don’t think it’s gonna be repaired. Front forks and ez-steer damaged and bout all fairing parts broke or damaged. Tour Pack a wreck and trike body mounts broke. :wave4:

WOW really glad you are not injured. GOOD JOB on the defensive driving. The wing took all the punishment.

I think most of the defensive driving skills are just yrs of riding in lots of different situations and most of it is just second nature. It all happened so fast I didn’t have time to think. Thanking God for protection. Will keep riding and enjoying my other trikes and 1500 wing 2 wheeler. :wave4:

In some cases, Defensive driving is on the job training...Things are so fluid out there now days that you just can't prepare for it all.........

I’ve traveled over 200 K miles on trikes or 2 wheel motorcycles since I bought my first trike in 2004 and this incident isn’t the first where I’ve needed to drive “defensively “, and each time it’s been on two-lane or four-lane roads with cross traffic and in city riding. About 75% of those miles where on interstate highways. I know lots of people will disagree with this statement but I’m convinced we are in less danger on interstate highways. The greater precaution when riding interstates is DON’T RIDE IN A BLIND SPOT!! On the interstate you have no cross traffic, a much safer distance between you and traffic traveling in the opposite direction, and much safer shoulders on interstate highways if you do need to drive defensively. Cross traffic, drivers turning into and out of driveways and intersections and on coming traffic causes most accidents second only to motorcyclists error from speed and carelessness. That being said.... I love riding!!!!:wave4:

Absolutely..........Very few bikers get 'T' boned on an interstate.....

Glad you're okay. Sorry to see your trike got trashed. Too many idiots on cell phones and distracted.

Damn David, certainly glad that you're OK and saddened that the bike didn't fare so well.

Thank God your not injured or worse killed

Trikes can be fixed or replaced human life can't be glad you made it out OK. I've said it before distracted driving should be the same as drunk driving. travel safe Fred
