Hi
i bought a 2013 Stallion a couple of weeks ago. Noticed EPA is 35 city 45 highway.

After 2,000 miles even with high air pressure in tires to reduce rolling resistance, synthetic oil (after 1340 miles) for better MPG, easy throttle, minimal braking, speed around 60 to 65, I get from 29 to 31 MPG

I know how to get high MPG. My 2012 Prius gets 58 MPG and I've driven a 82 Riviera from New Orleans to Jacksonville FL on half a tank of gas.

What are you getting?

Hyundai had to reimburse buyers of their 2013 Elantra by giving them yearly gas rebate cards because the MPG was misrepresented. C'mon, 31 on highway??

C and C trikes from Chariton IA claims Stallion says you need 15,000 miles "to loosen things up". Sounds like an excuse to me.

Heck, I was getting 58 MPG on my Prius with an EPA rating of 51 within the first 300 miles!

I believe we all get around the mileage you are. My wife has 60k on her current Stallion and gets 33 to 34 most of the time. But we did not buy the Stallion for the MPG. Ride it and enjoy. You will not any better MPG

I think I got 33 one or two times when I was poking along at 45 mph. If I keep it around 65-70 I can usually get 30, above 70 it drops. Also, if you use the ac, the mileage is affected more than in a car. You're probably not going to see much better than you are getting right now.

The first problem is we are in Florida and the fuel is crap !! Every out of state trip I take, the mileage goes up from 30-32 to 35-42. If we ever get rid of the ethanol junk, the mileage will probably be as advertised !!

I here you on that Tom, I went to by gas yesterday , gas pumps used to say up to 5% then a few years a go up to 10% yesterday's new sticker UP TO 20% now....!!!!!

Interesting! I just read the owners manual and it said not to use anything over 10%. Around here you can't get anything below 15%.

I get 35 to 38 just depends on how I riding and if I'm pulling a trailer. The Stallion gets within a 1/10th a gallon on a fillup that my friends on their Goldwings get.

35 to 38 mpg, now that's excellent, maybe you live and ride in the high country. Best I can get on my GW Road Smith is 35/36 in FL two up, maybe another mile or two in the high country.
