Motortrike Rear Tire Recommendation?

I've seen a lot of threads regarding the front tire on trikes, but can anyone weigh in on the rear tires? I have a FLHTCUI with a Motortrike conversion and the tires are showing wear (40K on them).

Has anybody replaced theirs with a tire that out-performs the ones Motortrike sells with the conversion?

Any brands to stay away from?

I have no complaints with the BFGs that came on my Motortrike, but I did switch to Falken Ziex ZE329s in the same tire size. The Falkens have performed just as well as the BFGs and looks like they will last just as long.

The Falkens were cheaper then the BFGs

I changed from BFG's 235 60/15's to 205 65/15's. only because the 235's are getting hard to find. The 205's are the same hight and just a bit narrower. for some reason it seems to make the trike easier to steer.Maybe because it has a smaller contact patch, so less resistence??

I'm glad you posted that. I want to replace the BFG 235/60's on mine, and had run the tire calculator and came up with the 205/65. I'm gonna look for the Bridgestone brand, as I've had excellent luck with them on my other bike.
