Anyone know what cv joint boot is the replacement for a 1995 se irs?

"Officially" we don't know what the application is (the CV axles are manufactured for us by a company and are ready to bolt in with grease already in them). They do provide us replacement boot kits for bikes out of warranty as an option through our dealers.

Now that the official part is out of the way. A while back one of our customers went on a "research bender" & found that the CV boots used on our halfshafts are a type 1 VW cv boot. Granted we can't 100% confirm that since we do get the boots from the halfshaft manufacturer but we've had a few customers say they've used the type 1 boot without issue instead of ordering through a dealer.

Big "thank you" to Trike Tech, Richard, for the info on the cv boots. I've put near 70k miles on my Adventure kit with no problems, but great to know some generic parts are available if I'm ever stuck in BFE. Otherwise, Kevin @ H &H does a good job.
