I have been riding a bit now that I have my license and have been question by many about my trike.

But the other day some one ask me how it supplied power to the rear tires.

Did it supply it to both tires or just one and if just one which tire received the power right or left?

Can anyone supply me with the answer to this one?

You will have a Driveshaft connecting Your Gold Wing Transmission to an Automotive-Type Rearend...the Rearend will be Your "typical" Ring/Pinion/Spider/Axle Gear(s) set-up......in a "nutshell", a Motorcycle coupled to a Car Rearend via a Driveshaft.....hope this helped, and all You needed.....ThumbUp

We (Motor Trike) use an open differential, which means the wheel with the least resistance gets the power. This also means if you happen to lift one of the rear wheels off the ground, the power will transfer to the lifted wheel helping to set the wheel back on the ground.
