Motor Trike Lower Trunk Problem

Have an '02 GW Motor Trike whose lower trunk is controlled by Satan or at least one of his aides. Getting it open is always frustrating and more oftern than not impossible. I have found a release cable that is over the top of the differential that's difficult to access but I haven't found an accessible end. If I didn't love my trike.... Anyone have this problem?

</div>I have a 2008 and mine did the same thing. If you take off the black plastic cover inside the trunk, you"ll probably see that the cable slipped off it's connector. After I saw this, I added a cable tie to keep it in place.
