motor trike classic bottming out ?

i only have 416 air shocks on my 93 gold wing 1500 motor trike classic,

has anybody switched out to a better beefed shock for bigger guys, i also pull a trailer ride 2 up mostly,

they make a upgrade kit for this around 750.00 which would give me air bags, & coil over springs,

u guys that have these do u have problems, ? seems maybe stronger spring shocks

I had the air bags on my 1500mt. You can air them up to the point that the ride is very rigid. I would doubt that you could bottom it out if the bags are aired up. I never could pulling a trailer and riding two up. The only objection I had was, on the 1500, I had to stop to air them up. Could not do it on the fly.

did u not have them hooked to compressor on 1500? or did u have air shocks + airbags?

I had coil over shocks with air bags. No air shocks.
