I like that fairing. My wife does too. so looks like one is getting ready to be ordered. Some say while not get one with a radio but not really wanting to spend that kind of money. Really want something for the helmets.

If you wear half helmets this is these are the way to go http://www.sena.com/product/sph10-fm/ I can listen to MP3s, use my phone(the wife calls to check on me when I disappear for 5 hr rides) hear the GPS from my phone all via Bluetooth. Sena also makes models for full helmets, and a kit to mount this unit in a full face, I just hate my full face helmet personally. Battery life is awesome, sound is ok, but hey we are in the wind nothing is going to sound awesome. I have been in the rain a few times with mine and it works fine.

Luggage Rack

Where did you locate the luggage rack? I have been trying to find one with the extended rear legs so it will sit level.

Sweet ride!!! I cannot speak for the original poster but when someone asks me why I do not just go with a tri- glide my answer is simple. I cannot afford a 30,000 dollar trike. It was really a stretch just to get the free and I'm darn glad to have it !!

There *were a number of reasons I chose the freewheeler over the tri . looks , I like the fenders on the free , the top access to trunk , the fairing I mounted is basically a large windshield , it comes off easily . didn't want radio or gauges . price was a factor . but the main reason I bought a freewheeler was the looks , it just has more of a hot rod style .*

The luggage rack is stock Harley , I believe it's listed to fit the freewheeler only .

nice slaw I have a 2016 freewheeler in black . can you tell me who makes the fairing and did you have to paint it or it came that way thanks

The fairing is made by hoppe industries . they call it the vanillazilla . they have other options if you want a stereo . it's made of hand laid fiberglass with a black gel coat finish on both sides . all I had to do was apply wax . comes with different windshield options , not knowing how tall that I needed I ordered the tallest option . will probably put a klock werks windshield on it once spring arrives . Hope this helps .

I know this thread has a little age on it, but...Is the color of the gelcoat a perfect match for the HD vivid black? Paint work adds lots to the price of these and wondering if paint is actually needed for a vivid black FW.

The fairing matches well with paint on trike . Also added aftermarket lowers from hogwerks and they are a great paint match as well . Could have spent a lot more , didn't see the need .

Not 100 percent sure if it is a super touring seat . When I bought it mustang was making only one seat for the freewheeler , since then they may have added more choices . Haven't been keeping up .
