M8 EPA Stage 1 Upgrade done!

After reading the EPA lawsuit information and seeing how Harley has guidelines to follow on all 2017 and newer bikes as a result, I elected to play nicely.

I installed the SE High-flow air cleaner, SE Street Cannons and SE Street Tuner on my 2017 Tri Glide. I have to say, these are some really nice additions to the M8. The Street Cannons have a nice low rumble at idle and are not overly obnoxious at cruising speeds.

The SE High-flow air cleaner keeps the stock M8 appearance while allowing more air flow.

The SE Street Tuner is an easy to use tuner. Granted you can't make changes like you can with the PoweVision, but you can still tune the VE tables and a couple of other tables. To me that is fine, I really like the plug-n-play system Harley has put together.

I bought everything through Board Tracker HD online for just move $800. For the cost and results, I'm extremely happy and won't have to fear any dealership about warranty should I have an issue on the road.

Sounds like some great mods. I would recommend you check out DK Customs air cleaner mod kit to stop the crank case gases from going back into your air cleaner, unless the Harley vents all fresh air. It includes an external vent filter for crank case gas. Also check out the website pic of a piston before and after this.

Thanks, I ran one of their bypass kits on my '08 Road Glide. I have had little to no gunk in my air cleaner over the past 1500 miles. I learned long ago to keep the oil level at the half way mark when cold. The service manual for the M8 even states that. If I start having signs of oil in the air cleaner then I'll bypass it again.
