Looking for fender help

My girlfriend was in a not-her-fault accident on her Freewheeler two weeks ago; got run off the road by a cage cutting her off... in dodging the car (who never stopped:mad:) she went off the road and hit her left fender on something that cracked it badly.

I need to do one of three things: have the fender fixed, (but I don't know how fixable it may be or if it is fixable, how well do cracks repair)

or I could pick up a used one on Ebay or someplace else,

OR I could buy a new fender from HD (but I don't even want to guess what that might cost me)

My preferred go-to would be to buy a used one but all that I find out there are pretty beat up'

Does anyone have a suggestion to where I can go to find a left rear fender?

Jim, if you have to purchase a used, damaged fender and have it repaired and painted you will probably be near the price of a new one that is painted and ready to bolt on. Delivery time could be a problem, though. Why not visit a paint/body shop and have a chat? Nothing to lose I guess.

I have one upstairs at the shop, last time I checked it was in good condition, Im not sure if its left or right I will check in the morning, What color is yours? Left is you sitting on the bike ? You can have it just pay the shipping. I also have two bodys one black & one the dark charcoal both have no lids on them. I will let you no which side I have & condition & I have 6 or so tri glide rear fenders

That sir is way cool of you:clapping:

Mine is a left rear color Black Quarts, has a scrape in it about 3 inches long, It would need to be sanded and primed then painted, the scratch can be filled with primer it would take somebody 1 hour to get ready for paint. I would guess shipping to be around $100. it will be a big box. I would think a body shop would charge around $ 300- $400 to paint.
