leaving Il going down through kentucky then to tennessee to albama over to georgia going to brumwick then up the coast to savannah then make my way to the valley if you known somethings i should see in this trip let me known thanks

It's hard to beat the BBQ and Ribs at Carolina Smokehouse in Cashiers, NC. Also great roads,waterfalls, etc.

Checkout the elk at Cataloochie Cove near Maggie Valley, and of course ride the Dragon while you're there.

There is a small BB-Q joint just outside of Gatlinburg on 321 near Pittman Center. Great BB-Q. The burbon trail in Kentucky is also fun to do. I enjoyed the Makers Mark tour. If your a fan of fast food "I'm not" Corbin KY has the first KFC. I guess it's their hall of fame. I did not go to that. LOL ...Ride safe and enjoy.

When in Maggie Valley I'm sure you will have breakfast at Joeys like about everyone else, but check out The Maggie Valley Restaurant about a mile down the road on the opposite side of the road. Hugh amounts of food and excellent. Also for a very nice dinner the place just across from Joeys and next to Jothenan Creek Inn is a very good upscale restaurant. Sort of Italian seafood.

While in Savannah, GA be sure to go by Paula Dean's. The food is everything it is claimed to be. Ride on over to Tybee Island, great place to spend some time and stay away from the riff-raff.
