Long trip coming.

There's no place like home....glad you made it home safe Larry. Maybe you should have got a pair of ear plugs.

Well, I'm writing this from my LazyBoy in my own living room! I arrived some time after 6pm safe , sound and half deaf!! I really have to do something with it! From what I can see, I have the 3 exhaust tubes going directly into a 4-5 ft long 4" "shotgun" tube! My ears are still ringing. Anyway the trike ran great and I'm really happy with it!:DCan't wait 'til tomorrow to go to breakfast and show it off to my buddies! Road grime and all, hey, I earned it!!!

Nighty Night Time, from East China Mi.

Glad you made the trip safely. Beautiful Trike for sure!!!ThumbUpThumbUpThumbUpThumbUp

Spoke with a friend about rear tire pressure and in fact my rears were at 32 and 34 psi. I lowered them last night to 24psi and what a difference it made to the tire wobble! It didn't completly eliminate it but it's almost gone! We're on the right track for sure! Next will be to check the torque on the triple tree nut and bolt.

Look closely at the front rim. See if appears to have had a run-in with a curb. If that doesn't turn up a clue, take the front wheel off and take it to a tire shop and have them check the balance.

Well, I think all of the "wobble" in the front end has been addressed! The mis-matched tire pressures in the rear and the under inflated front tire along with the the loose triple tree nut all contributed to the "loose" front end on this trike.
The rears are now at 22psi, the front is set to 40psi and the triple tree is set at 34 ft.lbs. AND it's a FULL MOON!!!
The trike no longer shakes almost uncontrollable at 30-40 mph. My thanks to Zook and all of the bits of advice from all of our members on the board. These pieces of knowledge and triking wisdom helped make my new to me trike a safe, fun vehicle!
THANK YOU ALL
Larry in East China Mi.

26 to 28 MPG pulling a trailer at those speeds is pretty good. I had a 1999 Valk Tourer 2 wheeler and at 80 to 85 MPG I would get about 23 MPG, not a trike and not pulling a trailer. If I kept it at or below 3,000 rpm I would get 30 t0 32 MPG. Once over 3,000 rpm the MPG went south in a hurry. Otherwise it was one of the best bikes I have ever owned.

Glad your back fine. You did all the right things to correct the wobble. People don't realize how much air pressure effects the whole thing. Change those mufflers and enjoy

I think Gorillas idea of road side assistance is a good one. I was surprized by the 35 miles though. If looking for road side assistance you might do some shoping around. I have Gieco ins. for my trikeat about $110. a year. The road side assistance will tow up to 250 mi. Also, the 2 times I used it, I asked for a rollback. The tow cable hooks to the trailer hitch, I sit on the trike to hold the front end straight and it gets towed up backwards. Works like a champ.By the by, I wish I lived closer to you, I'd ask if I could go with you. It sounds like a great idea.
Thanks, for youer time.
