Hello, I would like to tell ya a story, I bought my stallion in july 14.after driving it home i found out the front tire is cupped really bad.the previous owner had the front bearings replaced 3 k earlier. I let it go and rode it a little. Now last weekend I decided to fix the front tire, get the bike akk solid on jackstands and ramps. I'll start with the disc bracket adjustment arms, all four bolts were stripped, get out the dremel tool cut off the old bolt on right side, was able to get the left side off by using a pipe wrench and unscrewing the rod. finally that is done, go to take off the shock bolts and disc brake bolts off, wont budge, had to get my air impact to remove them.
ok i get the wheel assembly on the ground and start taking off the left swingarm ok wait there is a big gouge in the shock tower mount on swingarm look at shock and there is almost a hole worn through the shock housing. this is like this is like this on both sides. back to axle ok swingarm washer, spacer, looks good, right side swingarm, no washer and spacer is welded to axle, try to pull axle out will not come out get out brass punch still will not come out. finally i split the hub from the wheel. start cleaning out grease, what is this inside the hub there is a wheel seal mangled on the shaft inside the hub, take this off the shaft comes right out, how the ??? did this get inside there.
To tie part of this story up. I will need a complete new hub assembly with all new bolts and it looks like a new pair of shocks. I haven't contacted TBS to see a price, didn't want to have a stroke when I found out the price. Sorry this is sooo long
