Little info about the TriGlide

It always amazes me that people keep writing about the trike as if none of us could handle a two wheeler and they keep expounding on the age factor.

That may be true in some cases and I like the extra stability but the thing they (ALWAYS) overlook is that I wanted to build and ride my trike just because it GETS MY NUT !:D

You hit that nail right on the head, I don't need a trike, I have no disabilities. I have a trike because I wanted one, and I like riding them.

I am glad there was a "alternative". I wasn't ready to give up after 40+ years of riding. I'm hoping to get 10 more years in before I can say: "I had enough".It was a great ride, thank you...:Coffee:

I too, didn't need a trike but after seeing all the advantages my friends had with his, extra cargo space, stability, comfort, confidence and watching him laugh through bumper to bumper traffic while I worked my azz off to keep us upright. I wanted on. Got one too. Best move I made.

I went from a '12 SG to a '14 Ultra Limited last spring before heading north for the summer. Enjoyed the solo riding, but got back to FL for the winter, our park of 350 homes now has about 15 trikes - it took me two rides with 'em, with the SO on the back to persuade me that while I didn't make a mistake buying the Ultra, a TG was a better choice for the riding I do most of the year. Dealer was very happy to get the Ultra back with 2600 miles, I bought the 2015 TG they were unloading off the truck without a test ride (I did have experience on another three wheeler, so there wasn't a learning curve) and from the saddle, the view is the same as it was on the Ultra.. Happy, Happy, Happy:pepper:

Well, wife and I are the 'others' Cancer and old age took us off 2 wheels. It was trikes or rocking chairs for both of us. The trikes are a great option, but not first choice even after years on 3 wheels.

After 50 years on 2 wheels I needed a change and my wife already had a trike. I got one and love it . I don't have any reason I can't ride a 2 wheeler except I needed a change and the trike was it for me. I will always have a 2 wheeler around but I seldom ride it.

I get asked all the time. WHY A TRIKE ? Health issues ? I tell them NO I got one because i wanted one. Plus its one of the coolest Bikes out there. And It fits my ridin style ThumbUp Plus wife loves the tour pak. On my other bikes I always had the tour pak off and sitting in the garage. She has the tour pak. I have the trunk. Works out great !

My other ride is a 2013 V-Rod Muscle!! Think this Old Man went to the Trike because I could not handle a two wheeler?? I have had numerous heated discussions with others who have made similar comments regarding needing to go to the Trike because of OLD AGE!! Shit!!!!!!!!
