manual supplement 99601-09says underthe clutch cover,
also put the ft. wheel in a vise
.i made a wood thing
, 7" long piece of 2x8, &
on top of that screw 7" a 2x6", &
on top of that i used a 4" wood hole saw &
cut a 3" piece of scrap of wood . screw these together.
p put this wood extension on a floor jack. &
slide it under the tour pack assembly. make sure you brace across 3 braces.
jack the t/g up & put a small jack stand under the axle.
also do you have the elec service manual p/n 99497-09
service manual 99483-09, parts manusl 99602-09
i suggest you get these before they go out of print or whenever h-d decides not to sell them anymore.

i jack up one side then put a jack stand under the axle, then move the jack over & jack up the other side. works ok

For what it's worth,,,.

Only had my trike up off the floor once. I placed the floor jack under the differential and carefully had another person balance the trike. Once I got her to the desired height, I placed jacks under each axle. How-ever, the front wheel was still on the ground as I only needed to remove the rear tires.
