Not only they won't support the troops, the CEO put the word out he didn't want to deal with conservatives. They don't even need to stop in.
So I haven't been back in Starbucks. There are better, less expensive coffee stops all over the place.

Yeah, and they don't "burn the beans" like Starbuck's!! Worst tasting coffee I have tasted in a long time. One cup a "long time ago" confirmed my decision!!

The CEO put out a letter "respectfully requesting that customers no longer bring firearms into our stores or outdoor seating areas". Unless you're going to provide armed guards, pal, I'm not going to disarm myself for your overpriced crap. Bye.

:Agree: Never leave home without one....And when they start posting no firearms in them out here we will not be going in them. No matter how much my wife likes there coffee.

And yes on another note very over priced.

Even IF I was to go to Starbuck's, they would no know whether on not if I was "packing" unless they tried to pat me down!!! No worry, as I have said, I do not like their product and do not frequent their establishment regardless of any of their policies - nuff said!!!

I can't find his tweet on the conservatives right now. The store manager should have had an answer about the military troops & not give a phone number to call a recording.
The bean burning is some peoples idea of good coffee. LOL ! I too like coffee with a good full body that doesn't taste like ground up charcoal ! I even miss the coffee houses from down south with the espresso you can hardly pour from a cup,,,,,, with a good flavor.

I have little to no faith in Snopes.
It is certainly not to be taken as the last word in a discussion.

Then who are you supposed to believe....CNN?!?

:D

I still do, I just make sure he is safely hid away from fragile egos....words hurt....don't need his feelings bruised.

I do too.

If they try to reach inside my pants though, they'll be in for a bit of bad luck.

To go further off track...

Many years ago a member of a local chapter of a International 1% club told us that if we could make some brass knuckle footpegs he and all his brothers would buy them. AND, he wanted them to be quick release.

Well, we made up the pegs....

And we found some quick release footpeg pins...

Since that time we have sold thousands of pairs of our Flying Knuckle Pegs, along with quick-release pins, for easy access.

They are surprisingly comfortable pegs, and I know a lot of guys get them because they like the idea of having them readily available...but I have never heard of any of them being used for anything but pegs. :)

Yea Starbuck's canned the liberal CEO still won't go back! fearless

There all Liberals now days. I am glad they canned him and his policies. I don't go there anymore either. I have carried my handgun into a few of them (CCW) and not lost an oz of sleep over it... lol
