Hello from Texas.

Just another beginning trike owner. Haven't ridden anything for last twenty plus years due to bad knee injury.

When you never know when/if the knee won't support you ... and exhaust pipes are SO HOT. Sadly, discovered that all too well.

Now in my 60s, figured if not now, then when? And a trike is only way I can again get little wind therapy.

After I found a 2001 Harley Davidson Softail / DFT Smoothie trike, that I could afford ... I become a trike owner.

After registering here, was informed to keep the account, needed to post. So I've posted.:)

Best wishes.

In that same boat with you friend. Been 10 years for me and a left leg that has been broken in 43 different places from my femur down to my heel and about 25% muscle loss in the leg as well. But at least I can afford a bit more bike personally. Am now retired. Randy (Papa Zook) at Cut N Shoot Customs in Conroe, TX has my brand new 2021 Honda GW Tour DCT Candy Ardent Red in his shop right now awaiting a CSC trike kit coming one day in the hopefully not too distant future. Don't know when but hopefully will be up and riding before too much longer. Enjoy your bike as well and ride safe.

Thanks to everyone for the nice welcome. Appreciate it. Sincerely.

I'll probably spend lot time lurking and learning, just catching up on the info available here.

That and already started the complete repaint of my 'new to me' trike. Prep, Prep and more prep. <sigh>

You see, don't much care for all those explicit naked female devils ... uh ... those painted onto trike, I mean.

Yes, I'll save pictures. Might make a fairly interesting story someday.

Best wishes all.

Another New Trike person

Wife gave me the choice of trading in my two wheels for three or getting rid of it all together. Have a bad knee that has needed replacing for 20 years. It gives out every now and then. I guess she just does not like the surprise of falling over at stops. Did not want to give up the freedom of the wind in the face. sure do miss the banking in turns.

Robert, welcome aboard. It didn't take too long to realize that the security and advantages of 3 wheels out weighs the leaning. Your wife is happy, so that is a good thing.
