I am thinking about getting a intercom system before next spring.

I have see them with full face helmets but my wife and I use 1/2 helmets.

Do they make something that works with 1/2 helmets?

Something that you can actually hear the person talking and not just wind

I have tried using a Bluetooth headset with my cell phone I can hear them but they cannot hear me

I went to Bluetooth headsets a couple of years ago. Sena 20 s. I have used full face helmets and just recently put it on a 3/4 helmet. Seems to work well. Now for the learning part. It took me a long time to learn how to make them work, and I am still learning. It's not that they are that difficult to operate, but some simple things that I did not understand and had nobody to show me.

If some one could have showed me or explained to me how to operate them it would have been no problem. Now that I have learned to use them I won't go back to wired headsets. I can answer and make calls on my phone without taking it out of my pocket going down the road, listen to music,Bluetooth my gps or the gps on my phone and that's what I have been doing lately, use intercom between me and wife. It will Bluetooth bike to bike but I have not had a need for that.

Bob like Clinton I to have the Sena 20S. I previously had the G-4 and then the G-9 from ScalaRider. I like the 20S so much more. Yes like most electronics there is a learning curve and I'm still on that curve with mine. The volume and ease of use in my opinion is better then with the Scala.

Just a point of info THEY ARE EXPENSIVE

Thanks guys

I see it can be mounted on a half helmet

It is not cheap but I just accepted a new job position (I start on the 27th) so hopefully by Spring we can afford it

Bob, my wife and I as well as my sister and brother in law use the Scala pactalk on our 1/2 helmets. Pactalk has all the bells and whistles. what we like is that they use DMC for intercom which is much better than Bluetooth. They have a boom cradle that attaches to the side of the helmet and works really well. It does not come with the packtalk you have to order separate. Again they are not cheap. Just something else to look into. Good luck, Joe
