I'm not familiar with the kit on the Royal Star Venture, but most hints and adjustments of other bikes will apply... On my GL1800, tire down force is set so that you can just break a cart wheel loose from the ground while grabbing it with both hands and trying to turn it...
My tire pressure on my 12" wheels are set to 32PSI and that works pretty good for me... Rear suspension preload is set to 18 on my bike...
Try to obtain a setting of 1/16" or less of being parallel with the bike's rear tire... It will pay off later in Tow Pac tire longevity... It takes a little patience to get it this close but it can be done...
Check all nuts and bolts on a regular basis for tightness - they will loosen up after a while... I have installed rubber bumpers in various places on my Instatrike kit - see my posts in this forum for information on that...
I have also installed LED running/brake and turn signals on my kit... Again, that information is available in this forum...
If I can help with anything else, send me a PM or post here - I monitor this forum on a daily basis...
Thanks for the tips. It was missing a few replacement bolts, so I ordered them from Tow-Pac. Low price and quick response. I'm hoping to get it on and start testing tonight.
