Yep, after much research, I did it. My Ultra Classic is now a trike. I used the Roadsmith kit, independent suspension. I am REALLY suprised how it rides. We rode about 225 miles last Tuesday, one of those days that heat records were broken.....rode from East TN to Asheville, Chimney Rock, Lake Lure, up I26 to the BRP and north to Weaverville, then home the fast way. Other than being really HOT, we had a good time. My Harley used to pull a side hack, the handling is much the same with a trike being that all turns feel like left turns with a sidecar. What's more, my wife loves that thing, it doesn't lean over like a two-wheeler. She won't even sail with me anymore, just can't handle the lean/tilt. When Momma is happy, everyone is happy. I'll get some photos posted soon.
