How would you fix this .

I have a chance to buy one of these . Low miles not running 2002 250 street bike . Would you take a Gamble. Think it is possible to fix something like this. It turns over but just pops wont idle or run . If I could beleive him he says it ran early last year. He has never registered it.

Depends on the price, how good a mechanic you are and the availability of needed parts.
I always wonder why an owner doesn't fix, then sell at a higher price????
Probably did run last year, just before "something" happened!
The price would be what scrap metal prices are. IMHO

We need more iformation as to the rest of the condition of the bike,and what brand it is.
If it has serious engine problems it could cost more to fix it up then it is worth.

It is called a HI Bird made in China I think. I am looking to use it for training only . I may never register it . He only wanted $175 for it. Someone said it is sold at Tractor Supply and Pet Boys, but I think they are only the mini bike sold there. Saw one for sale on E pay for $1,200 running
