Bought our first trike last September-absolutely love it. I am a rider-too chicken to go for the license. Going on our 1st long trip next week to Americade-radio reception is terrible. Any input on boosters etc for the Antenna? two antenna's mounted on the rear cargo trunk now. Thanks for your input.

Welcome Tina0657! Glad you joined us.A little more info would probably help. What are you riding, what kind of radio?RIDE SAFE

I have my trikes set up for XM radio - that's all we ever listen to. Signals good across the US, and you don't have to retune at every town you pass thru.

Note that there has been a lot of sun activity lately which may be messing up radio's. Make sure you also don't have any corrosion, loose connections or breaks in antenna cable. You can test it with an Ohm meter from one end to other if you need to (multi-meter is what you need).

The two antenna's need to be installed on the correct side. The left side is the radio AM/FM and the right side is the CB. The lower portion of antenna will indicate CB.

Thanks for responding everyone. We have a 2010 Tri Glide ultra classic. not sure about the radio-factory installed-nothing has been messed with-including the antenna's. Sun activity makes sense-might be why my car is acting up the same way. how did you get XM on the bike if it wasn't factory installed? Thanks again
