OK another question for you guys from a noob. I was going to play with the air pressure in my rear shocks and I took it up from 36 to 39psi. Wife and I went for a ride, about 40 miles, and she said it was rough so I came home and checked the pressure and for some reason it was up to 45 PSI. I hit the P-check and decrease button and it will not lower the pressure at all. The compressor runs and will add air but I can't lower the pressure.
Help!!!! What should I do or look for???

Thanks for all your help guys,

Danny

Danny, I have to admit I'm a bit GL1500 ignorant. I have a friend that has one and his pressure relief is a manual valve on the right side. My old MotorTrike Adventure IRS had a switch that activated a solenoid which in turn let the air out. If you could tell us which control you have or at least which conversion kit, it would make helping easier. :xszpv::xszpv:

Jerry, I have a 2005 Coupe Motortrike conversion. When I hit the P-check and the decrease button together I hear a solenoid in the rear activate, but no air is released. If I hit the increase button the solenoid clicks and the compressor comes on and adds air to air bags. I have been saying shocks but the shocks are standard Motorcycle. I have air bags to adjust the ride.
Right now the PSI is way too high and I need to reduce it.

Your Coupe is some different then my Adventure Danny so I'm not too sure. I'd give Richard a call at Motor Trike. He's a straight shooter and will not mind giving you pointers. Here is a sentence out of the Adventure kit install manual. "All Adventure kits come with the compressor, pressure relief valve, pressure transducer, and low pressure switch installed and prewired on the Adventure frame. "

If your system is pretty much the same then I'd say the pressure relief valve is stuck. On my '06 I could get to all that stuff by removing the seat. Might be worth looking at it. Maybe some WD40 or spray silicone would free it up.

Good luck with the issue. :xszpv::xszpv:
