Before my 76 y/o father passed he left me his 2008 suzuki boulevard c90 factory lehman jackal trike. It has 3600 miles on it and I want to sale it. I do not know what the value would be, I have an idea but not sure. Your knowledge would be appreciated.

Your best bet is to just put the description into a search engine, like Google, and see what pops up like it for sale. Looks to be north of 20k on a quick glance. But a trike is only valued at what someone will pay for it. Good luck.

Thank you for reply. I thought north of 20k also. I was thinking 17k just to move it. It's a great bike and I want it to go to a good home where someone can enjoy it. Let me know if you know anyone interested. Thanks again.

Nice bike! I guess the C90 has a 1500cc engine, and Suzuki is a really nice ride, I've owned two of them. Place a free ad at cycletrader.com and ask about $25,000 then barter down to no less than $20,000. Also try eBay with a reserve of $20,000 and your local Craigslist.

I've had a Lehman conversion trike - great product, very pleased with it. Currently riding a Hannigan and love it. The difference between the straight axle and the IRS seems to be a matter of personal preference. I would guess most trikers can't tell the difference anyway.

Thank you. I tried craigslist with no bites. I joined this forum with hope that someone maybe interested. I'm 47 y/o and ride it once a week for a few miles.

I will try cycle trader. Again, not trying to make a fortune, just trying to find a good home for it. Am I crazy to let it go under 20K? Yes 1500cc.
Maybe I missed it. Didn't see your ad in the TrikeTalk classified section.
Assuming your C90 has been well maintained, I wouldn't take less than $20K for that trike. It's low mileage and very desirable.

Might take a few months, but hang in there, show it to the Southeastern US market on national web sites. Trikes are hot sellers in the south Florida market.

Thank you. I will put it the classified section tonight. Yes, it's been very well maintained.

After having spent 6 months shopping I can tell you that $17,000 is about all that bike will sell for. You can't compare it to a Goldwing. The Wing will go north of 300,000 miles. Suzuki not so much. You couldn't compare it to a Harley on 2 wheels. Three wheels aren't gonna help. It is a beautiful bike. I own a VTX 1300 because it looks like a motorcycle same as your Suki. I don't like Tupperware. I don't like the heat given off with the Harley.

Rule of thumb is. Start with the average retail of the stock bike (Nada) Add $10,000.00 for a 3 wheel kit, and about $1000.00 install. Wait it out. It will sell. Be sure to list the brand of trike kit. IR or SA. List all extras.

Thank you. What does IR or SA mean? I'm thinking something to do with the rear axle? Sorry for dumb question, I do not know a lot about bikes.

Beautiful Trike. Like previously said it is worth what someone is willing to pay. May I suggest that you go on e-bay. Type in Trikes then select motorcycles. There are always about 175 to 200 trikes for sale. I follow the listings as a hobby and I can tell you that if you are really interested in selling it you'll get about 15k for it. But again you may come across someone that is willing to pay more for a really good trike and you'll get a little more. Good luck she is a beautiful trike.

Really? The Suzuki C90 fuel injected engine is pretty sweet, and should run well over 200K miles with proper maintenance, same as the Honda 6 cyl. and much better than a HD twin of the same displacement. And for comparison sake this bike isn't like the GW1800, more like the VTX1300 if you're looking at specs.

It has a 90 ci engine, and this owner claims only 3600 miles! It hasn't even been on a decent road trip yet. The bike as a 2 wheeler would bring about $12K to $15K any day and with the Lehman conversion at least $20K.

Have you guys looked at the prices of new trikes recently? Holy crap, they're approaching ridiculous levels.

I have been on eBay. Very hard to judge what a bike is worth versus what the seller wants.

You have to follow the listing all the way to the sell to tell what they are selling for. Yes it very well might be worth what others are saying, but I can tell you they are not selling for that. I hope you find a willing buyer. Good Luck

Thank you. I appreciate your input. Now I'm all over the map ....lol.

Having just sold my trike (Sporty 1200) here are some of my thoughts:
*check pricing of similar models (check Craigslist search engine "Search Tempest", Yakaz, Cycle Trader and Oodle:
you'll see some of same bikes but will get idea of what that model might sell for)
-you can check KBB or NADA for bike itself but adding another 10K for trike kit might be price you out of used market
-also disregard the 4-sale listings of crazy numbers (under 10K for a trike like this-they are obvious scams & often use same pics)
*Also check some local craigslist sites as they often aren't put right onto the bigger search engines
*once you see what market is set at you decide if you want to be at bottom/middle/top
*I've usually gone between 1.5-2.5 under what a dealer would sell a used one for to get rid of it
-your timing is great as ride season is just starting for many of us
*post your bike on Cycle Trader, Trike Talk, craigslist (do some within a few hundred miles from you as people
will travel) and also look up the Suzuki site (may be "boulevard) to put your bike up for sale on
-if you belong to other forums who aren't Suzuki, usually OK to list your bike 4-sale on them (have done that-never
bad idea to get word out)
*sit back and wait for the crazies to call-avoid the "I'm on a cruise ship", "buying for my associate" lines
-you will get plenty of scammers but hang in there

*I've sold 4 bikes w/this method and always made $'s from original purchase. Needless to say those who sold to
me had their bikes underpriced or had to get rid of it.

It's a nice looking ride, if priced right it should be gone within a few weeks. Much depends on how quick you want to get rid of it or if you may want to keep it.

Thank you so much for taking the time to answer all my question. Awesome! Definitely going to sell it, I put it in the for sale section, and cycle trader. Thanks again. Based on everyone's input I listed at 22 and go from there.

That's a nice trike , already had a tour pack put on, nice paint, low mileage , I wouldn't take much less than 18,000 if any . Now there's my two cents .

Wish you luck , think if I were looking that would certainly be one of interest .ThumbUp
