The engine is an 1100cc Magna coupled to a narrowed Ford rear with disk brakes. I`ll probably add a front brake and maybe use a line-lock for a parking brake. The body work is fiberglass, which makes me think it was a production bike... not a "one off" build. I cant find any numbers on the frame, only a Schwinn (bicycle) emblem on the neck ? The title is from the Honda engine...
Some one with skills made that. The title only lists the engine serial number. Usually a custom build has to be inspected by the DMV where it receives a special VIN plate. Is there a VIN plate elsewhere on the trike?
Trike Lady, In Maryland, if the vehicle is older than twenty years it can be titled and registered as historic, with no inspection...if it has been modified, it can be tagged as a street rod, also with no inspection. That`s what I did.
Lee, you were right about the ad in Michigan.... I found it. Apparently the bike is a one-off … and all the body work is aluminum, not fiberglass. I have tried to contact the original poster of the Waterford ad, so maybe I can track down the actual builder.
