Help - Harley Part Needed

Trike conversion is complete but ignition barrel disintergrated when removed to add new tripple trees. Harley Australia can't supply a new one until late Nov. (they refuse to air freight, must go through the proper channels).

Anyone know where I can get a new barrel air freighted to Aus.?

Model is an FLHTCU 2008.

Any help would be appreciated, I want to go for a ride on the new wheels.

Ask the dealer if he would take one off a bike for you.

Thanks for the thought. Have tried lots of Harley dealers in Australia but they are in the same boat, they don't want a bike disabled bike for a month either and none of them have the required barrel.

I would like to express my sincere thanks and appreciation to Ultraboy for going the extra mile to help me find this part and get my new toy on the road. He was able to source the correct part and ship it air freight to Australia with a minimum of fuss and no extra charge. This is just a great forum. I have learned so much (which has already been helpful) and now experienced the fellowship of like minded people even though we are separated by great distance. Ultraboy, if you ever come to Aus. be sure to look me up and yes the part has been fitted, I have been for my first ride and I am still smiling.
