As mentioned by others, I should upgrade shift rod ends.
Winter project for both Trike and Bike. As well as the rear shift arm on shift shaft. What size bolt is required to connect to the front and rear arms. What are your thoughts on using the stock arms/threads or drill out threads in arms and replacing with bolts and locking nuts.

That’s the size of shift rod. What is size of thread in lever’s?

Ok now I know, thanks. On a trip on Trike now. Bike and Trike to be upgraded over the winter

The Heim joints are both standard thread.

I get them from McMaster Carr.
