I again entertained myself today and visited a Harley dealer in their service dept. and asked a few technical questions that I already new the answers to, wow, the answers I got were just amazing. they ranged from ridiculous to didn't know what the heck they were talking about. I did not ask any hard questions , mostly about torque or changing cams. they seem to know about 2 wheel bikes but very little about trikes especially converted ones. I am not saying anything about their working abilities but I have yet to find a single Harley dealer that really knew about trikes and if anybody knows of one please let me know.

Ozark HD and Tucson HD are two experts on the TriGlides. Both have sent their mechanics to the factory for special training. Unfortunately, I don't live anywhere near either. Good to visit, though.

Baxter's HD in Bidwell, OH. Ben "specializes" in trikes and has been building/converting with kits for years.

I appreciate the info people but I live in Fl. and stay in Pa. from June to Sept and I have not found anybody in either state that knows a lot about trikes. yeah, they know how to fix them if they are broke but they don't know what they need to trick them out per customers needs. that is the kind of mechanic I would love to know and do work for me. maybe one of these days I will find one.

Just what is it that you want to do to your TG? Seems to me asking some questions on this forum would be your best source of information. As far as the engine, that's the same whether your on 2 wheels or a TG. As far as the Trike portion there's not that much tricking out to be done. install a lift kit and a tour pak lift kit are about it unless you want to change shocks and there's a thread that just got started about Terrycable rear shocks for a TG.

Maryville Harley Davidson in Maryville, Tn, and Bumpus Harley Davidson in Murfreesboro, Tn......not exactly "close by" for You though.....;)

There's a guy in service at the Rapid City, SD HD dealer that spent some time at Lehman and seems to know his stuff about TG's. He helped us out when we stopped there.

Choppers Spirit in Ft. Myers, Florida. PM me for more info as my Trike has been a Beta test platform for many vendors. We are also TTS certified V-Tuners. My 2011 is as tricked out as it can get, but it's a matter of $$$ even at dealer costs.

Took my 2013 tri glide to Coos Bay 101 Harley to have them do my 1000 service. what a joke, they adjusted my clutch so bad that I had three near misses on the way home. Clutch would not disengage after they were done with it for the 3 hour service. local Indy took less then 15 min to make it right.
