hearing aides

Basically they dont. I take mine out every time I ride. Otherwise the wind noise if very distracting. When you take them out make sure they are in a safe place.$$$$$

My wife takes them out also while riding. Same reason. too much wind noise and if they fall out, too costly to replace. Note to always put them back in case. don't just place them in pocket. The wife did that when answering phone and it fell out somewhere.Note that even with her really bad hearing, she hears radio fine on Tri-Glide.

Same as the others, the wind noise will drive you crazy. I can understand my wife better without them than with them while moving. Also like mentioned above find a good safe place to keep them. I just put mine back in at each stop, kind of a hassle but you do what you have too.

its time (according to wife) for hearing aides..how do they work while riding ?
thanks for any info
peter

I use the in ear style and with my modular helmet they work just fine , also include the blutooth so the work with my phone while helmet is on.
Just need to use caution when puting helmet on and especially off as the tend to turn or come loose , thats why I use this style and no wind noise when riding

My open-fit aids work fine.

They have T-coil technology for telephone use. The same tecnology that turns the aids speakers off (the magnetic field in the telephone earpiece) operates with the speakers in the helmet as well. It also works with my helmetless intercom system.

There is no amplification of noise whatever and the only wind noise is that which might come through the intercom mic.

Needless to say, I do have to take them out or turn them off when I don't have the headphones on.

I TAKE MINE OFF. tHEY COME OFF WHEN i TAKE MY HELMIT OFF AND I ALMOST LOST ONE.
