If you have hearing aids do you still have trouble understanding the TV? If your aids are from the VA and are no more than about two years old, there's help for you and it's free. While talking to my VA audiologist I mentioned that I still have trouble understanding the TV. He said the VA offers help for that and he'll order me this gizmo and call me when it comes in. 3 or 4 days later he called and set up an appointment to show me how to hook it up to the TV. My ability to understand the TV has skyrocketed! If you don't already have one of these blue tooth gizmos call the VA and you wife will be pleased you no longer have the TV up so high.

So do you have a name for this GIZMO?

I have hearing aids from the VA, they also told me about the TV thing. I didn't get it though, they also said they will replace the hearing aids every 5 years.

Not sure Nucseal, the VA just referred to it as a 'device'. However, there is one down side to this gizmo. When you're watching TV and it's playing thru your hearing aids, you might not be able to hear Ma when she talks to you. Whether that's an advantage or disadvantage is up to you.
