For those of you who haul your Hannigan or CSC Trikes, I would appreciate your input on the model/brand of the trailer you are using.

Due to towing capacities of the SUV, I am looking for about a 500 lb. max. aluminum trailer weight capable of a cargo weight of 1200 lbs, without brakes and inside clearances in excess of 65" to handle the wide wheel based trikes fenders.

Is such a trailer manufactured?

I pull an Aluma TK1 behind my Ford Edge.

Not sure your going to find an enclosed trailer with your weight restrictions

Thanks Mike!

I am looking for an open trailer.

Are you towing a Hannigan or CSC wide trike?

I did research the Aluma TK-1 trike trailer.

Unfortunately the inside fender to fender clearance is 63".

Hannigan and CSC Trikes outside fender to fender wheel well widths are about 61.5" and 60.5" respectively.

The fender clearances seem a little too tight for loading or any trike transporting movements.

Not enclosed. Triton AUT 1272. CSC fits very well on it.

Thanks!

I will check it outThumbUp

I have a Hannigan conversion on my 2007 Ultra, and just last week I bought a Droptail trailer for it.

The trike fits and loads perfectly on the trailer, but with very little extra room to spare after the rear gate is in the up position. I just towed it in this morning so it could get a dyno tune, and the trailer did just fine going 70 mph.

The width is more than adequate. It would actually fit 2 bikes side by side.

I came with 2 chocks and a removable jackstand.

I have the Aluma MC210 and it will work for your Hannigan or CSC
We haul a Goldwing / Roadsmith and no problems.

also, you can reposition the wheel chocks and haul two touring motorcycles.

hope this helps
