Hauling Trike in Avalanche

Has anyone out there hauled a Trike in a Chevy Avalanche? I pull the car behind my 40ft RV and want to haul my Trike? I have a Rampage bike loader and Rampage has said I should be able to haul it, but I am afriaid too much weight in the rear??

1. Is the bed wide enough for the trike?
2. Is the bed long enough for the trike?
I would be concerned about having the tail gate down/bike hanging over making turns while having the trailer hooked up!
Just my opinionDah on me for that comment-I reread and see the Avalanche will be towed-not doing the towing?

If the trike fits into the bed of the avalanche,my concern would be the gvwr of the total package. Another major concern is the load rating of the tires on the avalanche, Ipersonally don't know the load capacity of the avalanche but you would probably be close if not over it with gw or hd in the back. Just my 02 cents worth

if I'm not mistaken your vehicle is a short bed and thats not good for serious trike hauling, way to much weight and overhang for a safe ride and even worse if your towing it behind a motorhome, as it unloads the frontend of the truck then it won't track good

You need a full eight foot bed to haul a trike in.
I measured my 96se 1500 with a 06 lehman kit and a four and a half degree rake, just a tad over nine feet from the front of the front wheel to the very back of the trike
