Those passages are narrow which is the reason I had no qualms mounting the DK Customs oil filter relocation kit. It dosnt take a lot of oil pressure to squirt through those passages 15-20 PSI at warm idle. At the outboard bung below the oil filter I mounted the fitting for the A1 Cycle oil pressure gauge and snaked the cable up to the rear rocker box where the gauge mounts.
This illustration is for the Twin Cooled engine, the Oil Cooled engines have an oil cooler and oil passageways that run inside the cylinder heads to cool the exhaust valve area.
