I'm on three now for about two years, after 40+ on two. First bike was a 1967 Honda CB160. I've owned Honda, Yamaha and Harley. First HD was a 2003 Electra Glide Ultra Classic (the silver & black 100th anniversary edition), bought in 2013 with only 8.2k on the odometer. That bike was killed by a deer in 2017, with 32k on the odometer. Moved to a 2013 FLHTK Ultra, and traded that in on a 2015 TriGlide in 2021. Too many upgrades on the TG to list... lots of DK Customs stuff (lift, shocks, tank lift, floorboard extenders, external breather catch can, blah blah blah) and lots of light upgrades in front and back (see and be seen). I do miss two every now and then, but very happy that I made the transition to three. Ride about 60/40 one up vs two up. I had sorta half looked at three over the past few years, but my defining moment was in late-2021. I had been out for a solo ride on the Ultra, got back home and pulled into the garage. Put the sidestand down, then decided I might as well wash it. So, raised the sidestand and started to put down the center stand. Unfortunately, I wasn't centered and the bike started to go over. I couldn't hold it up. Mind you, I've practiced (and taught MANY others) how to lift a bike. I've probably done it a few hundred times. It took me a good 15 minutes of trying before I could stand the damn thing up. That was it. Serious looking commenced, and we found our new ride within a couple of weeks. Couldn't be happier!
