Got involved in a rear end collision (Front veh. of 3) and got damage to the right side rear and upper fairing of my 05 Ultra Classic/Lehmann trike an took to local dealer. Dealer is taking off box and fairing and sending out to be "fixed". A friend and I riding split a lane stagger with me in front slowing for a red light and to make a right turn when friend on a BMW/Hannigan trike got hit so hard he was driven 50 feet where he collided with me. BMW had $9500 damage and I had $3000, car driver way under insured. Any way very skeptical of getting back the quality of my trike that I had so interested in response from any one who had similier experience

Correction please

Please correct last post, Even a BMW ain't worth $9.5000 so it should be $9.500 ( nine thousand five hundred) crash musta rattled my brain.

That's why when anyone posts/asked about insurance' I always tell then to make sure they have enough UNDER/NONE Insurance coverage.. Most people forget to add it to their insurance..

ABSO f**king LUTELY!!!! Especially bad out here in SoCal where 40% of the drivers don't have any insurance, and don't speak English either.

Glad everyone was able to walk away. Good Luck!

:Agree: I always make sure I cover my behind, I don't feel like having some critter with no insurance make my life miserable.

As to the OP's question on repair quality. I've never had to have one repaired from an accident, but I say it all rest in the skills of who is making the repairs. If they're good he'll get a good job, obviously if they suck, we know what the outcome of that will be.

Glad no one was seriously hurt.

DITTO on the under/uninsured coverage...get the most you can. When I got hit, the driver had insurance, but only the minimum required in TN which is $40k....it was eaten up in the first few hours I was in the hospital.

Fortunately I had a good amount of under/uninsured coverage.
