Need some input! Have a 94 chevy extra cab truck with 350 and throttle body injection. I'm getting a strong gas smell when I park. It is even inside the cab now but see no leaks under hood while running!!! Help please,Jerry!!!

I had the similar thing happen on my 87 Chevy Van. Turns out the TB fuel filter was mounted on the frame under the van and was leaking . Couldnt find anything under the hood but one day when my son was helping me run some errands he saw something dripping from under the van.

Is there a chance the evaporator [charcoal] canister is loaded up with gas,
And needs to be replaced.?

The first question I have is, when you park & smell gas, is the eng off or on?
The next question or suggestion is, have you looked under the vehicle? If not find a clean dry spot to park, check under while running and after the eng is off, you need to check from fuel tank to the front bumper, there are a lot of fuel lines & return lines and don't forget to check all the lines and the exhaust system for stains! Check all connections, ck all hoses(if any) for dry rot & cracks.
I second the possibility that it may be the charcoal canister, so find where they hid it and check the connections & fuel smells from it.
The last thing I can think of is the fuel injectors, if you have throttle body inj then remove the air cleaner assembly, have someone inside on the key & someone looking at the injectors on top the throttle body, have the eng running then have the key person shut off the eng and have the other person look for fuel dripping from injectors and make sure no one is touching the accelerator pedal.
Ck all that and I'll be thinking of more stuff, if I can.:wave4:
