Hey jc, after you get a few hundred miles on it, would you post up your thoughts?
thanks

OK - 200 miles today:
Interesting that this tire balanced with less than half the weights on the Dunlap....just an observation I found, interesting. So far it rides round and feels maybe a bit heavier in the Arms, but could be just in my head?
I made the mistake of taking a route today that is new to me and this might be unfamiliar roads. It seems this tire reacts differently to the crown in the road. Like it doesn't like the tire riding the crest? Not twitchy or pulling hard in any direction, but felt like it didn't like the tire where I wanted it. Anyone have the same feeling?
jc
John, what air pressure are you running? I am running 40 -41 in mine as per Avon's tech page on their website and don't feel it reacting to the crest in the road.
The same @40....and just to be clear, I mounted the tire in the "correct" direction.

Hey JC,
What you are commenting on is close to what I have felt on mine. I feel a little wiggle or twitchyness in the seat, my handlebars are rock steady. I get this when crusing (just loping along). Under acceleration or turning (engine under load) the feeling is gone. I think it is the the tread pattern and certain road surfaces that make it more noticeable. My first tire had about 1100 miles when dealer swapped it out for the second one. This one is better than the first, but still there with 1000 miles. Getting used to it now.
I believe new it was 13/32 depth & now is 11/32.
