Front End Wobble

I am pretty new to the trike scene but really enjoying it. My general question has to do with front end wobble. Is it normal to experience some of the wobble at higher speeds. I have not done a lot of high speed riding as I am still really getting used to the bike. I have learned by Q & A that some is normal at lower speeds, but should the wobble level out significantly at higher speeds around 70 or so. It is not like I am fighting it but would appreciate some feedback. Riding a 2001 Roadking. Very well maintained by individual I bought it from.

Do you have a rake kit?
If not, my experience riding trikes without rake kits is very limited but, I remember testing a Yamaha Venture Trike. There was a slight wobble that smoothed out above 35mph. Installer told me that was the "nature of the beast". I quickly moved on!
If you have shaking handle bars up to and beyond 70, first thing to do is NOT ride until you or if you can't, someone that knows how, checks the steering head bearings and then the torque on them.
Lift the front wheel off the ground and check for movement for/aft, side to side of the forks.
That's the simple answer and the easiest fix.
That wobble can be caused by several things. The most difficult one to correct may be misalignment of the rear end!
If you find the fork bearings to be OK, I would suggest you locate a trike conversion installer and have that person check your trike for you,
Let us know what you find please!

Yes, as deputy dawg stated there are many causes for wobble! Check your front tire for cupping, see if there is excessive play in the front wheel, check for proper torque on your neck bolt, it should be tighter than stock but check with the trike kit manufacturer. As long as it is low speed wobble it may be normal and you, just get used to it...

MUCH MORE Info needed to correctly diagnose without emptying the Mag blindly to nail the root cause.
To start, Which Bike, Which Conversion, when converted (how many miles since conversion), what mph window of issue (for example, start at 30 mph and go away at 60 etc), is there a window inside that where it gets/is worst, Triple Trees been changed/mod'd, what Angle, front tire type and how much tread left, wear pattern of Front Tire, what psi you running,,,,
Agree with Tom about Head Bearings and Torque of. That needs to be addressed and eliminated quickly for safety reasons. The rest, if that not your "Gremlin", can come after.
