When changing out the front end to chrome, is it a good idea to also upgrade the fork internals or is the stock setup sufficient on a trike.
On Baggers, we always lowered them and changed out the internals to something like Progressive Suspension components. Not sure if it is necessary on a trike.

It all depends on what type of handling your looking for. Depending on what year you have will also dictate options Leaving it stock isn't such a bad thing, if your an aggressive rider and have a pre 2014. I'd look at a set of Traxion Dynamics AK20 cartridges. Last winter we shipped my dads fork tubes off and had the Traxion AK20's installed, nice improvement in ride and handling. Only down side is its not a cheap date, the Traxion setup was $1,200. A cheaper route is progressive suspensions cartridge setup. If your riding a 2014 and later you don't have many options, progressive hasn't come out with anything for them. Traxion may not have anything either, but they do custom make them when needed.

Time will tell on the '14's & '15's with the heavier/larger set-up. Everyone that has had both old & new say the front end is much better. But then again not a strut system.
