Interesting, I have them on my 2013 with no problem. Tell us how it comes out.

Hmmmm, never considered the 'new' parking break. We put the extensions on both the '09, and '11. Only an inch each way, but I guess that is why we didn't have a heat problem. Keep us informed, curious how this works out.

Went back go the dealer today...I surprised the guy with the same bag and contents I purchased the day before..he said you didn't like it...I said I did like the right side then when I went to the left side...I said to him that the parking brake was in the way..he replied he didn't think of the new 14 parking brake..I truly understand cause I didn't consider either...He said will be calling a vendor in the morning to see if they have come up with anything yet...

I pulled the parking brake bracket off the left side a couple weeks ago to see what could be done to make a 1" extension work. With mine the wire for the parking brake light wasn't long enough.I have some 3/4" spacers that will work.I think for me that would leave enough slack in the wiring. The next time i go to the h-d dealer,i'll buy 3 replacement bolts 3/4" longer & install it.

I have the floorboard extensions on my 2011, not for heat, but it is much more comfortable. If you can figure a way to do in on the 2014, I think you will like it!

btw, does the parking brake work well on the 14's? I never bother to use it on my '11.

I had the extensions on my '12 TG so I wanted to get them for the '14, but I knew about the brake being put on the left side so I contacted the mfg. They said they did not have a set for the '14 and weren't planning on doing one.

So far the brake is doing what it's suppost to do. If it doesn't then I still have my velcro strip.

Another step

On e-bay is a step that mounts between the driver's boards and passenger boards It flips up to use the parking brake and assists driver and passenger getting on a trike making it useful on most trikes Also the parking brake makes it so running boards dont work Google or e-bay Trike Mid Step:pepper:
