First ride 2011!

:woohoo:The planets are back in perfect alignment! I got my first ride of 2011 in Sunday afternoon. Little brisk out 35 degrees, but had to be sure trike was ready for trip to Maggie Valley. It is and so am I!:Biker:

Got to ride Saturday, not bad high 50's. Snow today 29Deg. high around 39, should be in the 70's here Thusday but I have to work, and it is going to rain this weekend!!

Sunday was also our first ride of 2011...........just a little 200 mile "jaunt" to get a steak. Sure felt good albeit a bit chillyThumbUp

Rode Baby around town 44 deg . For some reason 44 sounded warmer than it was .After 12 and 0 temp it was balmy. Well after 25 miles , I was chilled to the bone. I did see a few bikes out . People look at you like they are seeing the first Robin in spring. (Robins are the first bird to come back and is considered a sign of SPRING)

Even in north Florida it's been a chilly spring so far. We've taken a few short rides, and the Chief rode to Daytona Beach for Bike Week last week, but Monday was my first long-ish ride of the season--170-mile ride to get brunch in Destin, then we took the long way home.

Yep--it was chilly, but yep, it was fun! epper:

Bah...spring in Illinois is so up and down. Had a couple of nice days last week, now SNOW predicted for tomorrow (Wed.) AND Saturday!! Bikes stays in storage for another week. Booooo!!!

I hear ya!! We were tempted to take her out on Saturday, but still too chilly for me!!! Hopefully going to do our first ride on April 23rd. PM me if you would like to come along! I'll give ya the details.
