Favorite Vacation Destination

I agree. Wife and I have rode several times in and around that area. Always looking for new destinations. 👍🏼

Keep next September's Trike Talk Rally in Maggie Valley in mind as a must do. It was awesome to meet some of the fellow members on here in person and get to ride with them. There is a Maggie Valley thread under This 'n That on the main forum page to check it out and keep up with the plans for the next rally closer to time.

Think I might have to say San Antonio. First because of the Alamo, then Ma absolutely loved the river walk. Lots of other history in the area to see as I recall.

Oldest son’s wife is from there. Great history at the Alamo. Did the “Walk” also. Enjoyed both.

Some places,I’ve been too twice. The first time and the last time. When you go again,it’s a good sign you enjoyed it. NY. State has some beautiful views.

Another vote for the Black Hills, but not during the rally. Too much traffic. I like early spring when you can still see snow under the trees or late fall for the colors...

Haven’t ridden the trike there yet, but I spent summers in Lake Tahoe growing up. It’s my happy place! Got married there in 2005.

Check out the River walk while your there and just an hour east of SA is the Hill Country, and some of the best twisty roads in the southern USA.

Did Tahoe, Carson City, Virginia City and Reno when wife and I were traveling West Coast in 2014. We really enjoyed our time in Ca. Or. and Wa.

What road or route is your favorite?

Can't say I/we found a road we didn't like. Almost any direction you go out of Maggie Valley you were in the twisties. Beautiful mountains to ride in.

:Agree: great day riding can be found near Maggie Valley, NC for any level of experience and ability.

Motorcycle Mike and Shirley did a great job of taking the Trike Talk group on some fantastic rides that included twisties and a great variety of other roads. ThumbUp

Hopefully, Mike will chime in on this matter with some more routes.

I believe some of the route numbers were 276, 215 and 209 including the Rattler.:D
