Right now I have a tulsa clear with vent, while it is in good shape, since I no longer have a corider I have been thinking about getting a f-4 windshield in stock height, the bike is a 96 honda 1500,so I can get more air through the vents on my helmit. My helmit is a arai flip shield.I am on the short side 5,7 to 5,8 and the more mature I get it seems the more high heat and humidity bother me.
What are your thoughts on this idea?
Thanks Jim

Jim it doesn't hurt to try it. Sounds like you have given it the correct amount of thought.

I got the F4 on my 1997 1500 GW . If you see pictures of my trike you will notice how you can barely see it in photos. It is distortion free and crystal clear . 3 years now no scratches , No swirls . Night driving is beautiful. i took off a Tulsa i thought was clear.

John did you get one that is stock height, did you get one with the vent?
What I want to do is get more air to the top of my helmit vents.Because of my height I still will not be able to look over the top which is fine with me.
You can e-mail me at jc.peacock@comcast.net.
Thanks Jim

Well we ride in cold weather more than warm so I want more protection I have the 4+ on mine. I look through it . Like I said Crystal clear. Honey said WHAT $400.00 for a windshield. and when we took it for the first ride she said WORTH EVERY penny

John, thanks for the postive info on the F4,,, maybe I can get Cathy to get me one.. Like U I think I want the plus 4... Cathy gets a lot of wind on her and maybe this would help....

Thanks again..

I replaced my windshield with a Tulsa x-tra Tall. Thius is my second TT, I really like it. I thought about the F-4 but an x-tra $100.00 talkeed me right out of it.

BUT the tulsa will scratch and I thought it always looked distorted . I can clean my with steel wool if I get a real nasty bug on it . Wife thiught it was high to but I would do it over any windshild in a heart beet even for 200 more
