Who was your old extended warranty provider? Are all of the companies the same way? In other words, if you get a new bike with a different engine you can't transfer the warranty or get any refund?![]()
Having the ESP helps in other ways, such as the preferential treatment I got when we were in TN to ride last summer, and the bike went completely lights out. Rocky Top HD immediately pulled it in, spent all day working on it to find a broken wire inside the fairing where it got pinched. Six hours of labor, and we were treated like VIPs, got the bike fixed, and $50 out the door.

Agree 1000%. I have even used mine in Canada once = no problems. Even got preferred treatment. No vacation money spent.A Harley Davidson, especially the water head, electronic-laden, electric reverse TriGlide ain't no Toyota. These trikes are expensive to buy and expensive to repair. There is no way I would own one without some kind of factory support.
We travel far from home, and we are supported by a vast network of HD dealers nationwide. I have gotten my monies worth on my two previous ESP's which were not as high-tech as my Tri Glide, which is currently covered.
But it is not just getting your monies worth out of the plan. To me, it's the peace of mind when traveling to far away places that make it really worth it.
