ARGH!!! Came out from work today and there was a small puddle of engine coolant on the asphalt! Took the Stallion over to Rich Ford here in Albuquerque to get it checked. After having 10 stunned and amazed Ford Technicians looking, climbing over, climbing under and just having fun, I have to take the Stallion back tomorrow for a pressure test to see where the leak is.

Has anyone else had this type of problem? I think I may have had a rock nick or set loose a hose connection. Anyone?

You did not say where the leaks location was. I have heard of the hose clamps around the radiator being loose. I have not had any leaks.

Before you get too wild are you sure a friend from work didn't pour a small amount of coolant under your trike as a practical joke? A friend at work pored a small amount of oil under my bike one day. I thought I had an oil leak but he fessed up before thing sgot too serious.

Good Luck.

I whizzed on Big Dogs rear tire and blamed it on Miles the Wonder-Dog! I think Fred knew it was me because Miles could not lift his leg over his head to pee!

YES!
Check all hose connectors. If you check each time you change oil, you'll be in a leak free state

Yes last year had a spot of engine coolant on the left side near the rear tire . I read somewhere on here that you have to take the left rear tire off to tighten the hose clamp. So I pulled the tire , tighten the clamp & tighten all the others as well. Leak stopped, & everting is fine. I hope this helps , & yours is a quick fix also.

Took the Stallion to Rich Ford today. They did a pressure test and the leak was in the rear cap that you have to get access through the trunk?!? I am not rally too keen of having to cut up the carpet in the trunk to access this point. The Ford mechanic told me the coolant system was maintaining pressure at about 6 psi. I cannot find anything in the book stating the rated pressure. Any takers?
On a second note. They put the Stallion on a lift (yes it worked) and found the left side air bag was sitting at an angle (slight). Not straight up and down like the right. This is a problem with the airbag and not the bracket. Seems I need to contact Thoroughbred and order another airbag. Last, the main drive-shaft seal needs to be replaced as there are signs of a little leakage.
Thankfully this is ALL covered under Warranty as get this....I have only 3300 miles on the Stallion. Thank GOD for warranties!!

The wife's Stallion had a blown hose while riding. On the right "passenger" side under the hood the cooloant line "Tee's" off and there is a short 3-5" piece of solid rubber hose that serves as a plug for the tee. I had to remove that piece and replace it with a good fiber reinforced hose with a bolt on the end of the hose. Don't know why they put that tee in the line as it serves no purpose. It also sprayed water on the signal light blinker module and that had to be replaced. Maybe that's your problem. On the wifes bike it didn't leak, it blew all at once.

after tighting all hoses and add what ever coolant needed, do not ad any more. you over flow run out in the rear that is where the hose is. Putting in to much keeps it coming out the overflow.

I had a small coolant leak. Loose hose clamp on the rubber hose coming off the stainless pipe..behind the rear tire. Hard to get at...easy to fix. I agree, check everything whenever you can get under your Stallion.

I've spoken to a few including myself with the leaks, but ALL turned out to be the clamps needing to be snugged down. Start at the front and work your way back taking off each rear wheel to get to those areas and don't forget to check the one by the radiator cap.
